SSA Drawing Challenge 2022 !
Entries close 9pm, Sunday 18th September
The Sheffield Society of Architects are pleased to announce that the hugely successful Drawing Challenge is back for summer 2022!
It is open to everyone and all ages and abilities are welcome, from wherever you are in the world.
All you need to do is follow these easy steps:
1. Start sketching / painting / digitally creating, and submit a drawing of one of your favourite buildings, spaces or places.
2. Email to sheffieldsocietyofarchitects@gmail.com with the name or description of the building or place, your name and your age (feel free to just put over 18 if you are an adult and don't wish to divulge your age!).
3. A selection of our favourite images from each age category will feature on our website and there will be art, architecture and construction related prizes for the lucky winners!
We would love to see your work, be it in Sheffield, the UK or somewhere else in the world!
Once the entries have been received we will contact the winners by the end of September 2022.
Below are the winners from last year's drawing challenge, and the prizes they received! We hope you are inspired to show us your best work.
Judging
Judging of the entries will be conducted by SSA steering group members attending the September 2022 SSA monthly meeting. The SSA Steering Group consists of Architects, designers and students with a qualification/studying/interest in Architecture. The age categories may be adjusted to suit the entries which are received. Prizes are awarded to suit the age of the recipient. Please supervise any child utilising their prizes.
Image Requirements
Please ensure that your image file is no more than 10MB in size. A photograph or scan of any handmade artwork is fine, just make sure you're showing it in its best light! There is no requirement for paper size.
International Entries
We are unable to post prizes to outside of the UK. If your entry is successful, we will contact you to arrange an e-voucher or similar.

When emailing in your entry for this event you consent that your submitted data will be collected and that we (SSA) will hold onto the information and may use you it to notify you about this and other events you may be interested in. You may unsubscribe at anytime by selecting unsubscribe from the bottom of our mailings.
