Join the Sheffield Society of Architects for a live virtual presentation of Hill View Farm

Peak Architects, founded in 2015 by Paul Holden, have gained a track record for delivering inspiring designs and buildings. Their award winning team are based in offices in Sheffield and Hope Valley. 

 

Paul Holden will be presenting Hill View Farm, a contemporary conversion of a concrete and steel agricultural barn, 

used for agricultural storage and animal rearing, into five private dwellings. The scheme, located in the Green Belt just outside the village of Tickhill, Doncaster, cleverly makes use of the Class Q - Agricultural Buildings to Dwelling Houses- permitted development rights.

The external timber detailing is a nod to it's previous agricultural use, including retaining some of the original materials, whilst the large windows maximise views of the surrounding countryside. Within the barn footprint is a central courtyard, a car parking area and rear gardens for the residents.
