We welcome everyone – architects, other built environment professionals, students, families and friends.
Join us for a tour of Eyewitness Works, an "exemplar of creative conservation in Sheffield City Centre, establishing a range of lifestyle living spaces that are viable, efficient and attractive and respectful to existing structures" -shedkm • eyewitness works
Eyewitness works consists of the grade II listed Eyewitness Works and Ceylon Works built in the 1850's used by Taylors Eyewitness Ltd for cutlery works and a new concrete block named Brunswick. The project, by social impact developer Captial&Centric has been designed by Shedkm and Twentysix Architects.
Eyewitness Works has a mix of one-, two- and three-bed apartments, duplexes and townhouses, 3 courtyards. Residents can enjoy the benefits of a lounge, co-working spaces, private dining and mini cinema.
The Project is the winner of the Large Project and Residential (Multiple Dwellings) Awards at the 2024 Sheffield Design Awards

Setup by the Sheffield Civic Trust The Sheffield Design Awards recognise exceptional contributions to our built environment across Sheffield and South Yorkshire and to encourage the highest standards and quality of design in the built environment.
The biennial Awards covers a range of categories including residential, commercial, education, healthcare, heritage and conservation, and landscape.

Please note: There are stairs (no lift) in main Eyewitness due to the nature of the building. There are lifts in the new build, Brunswick. There is a step down into the reception/ lounge. Toilet facilities will be available to those that attend the tour.
