September Crafting Series - Introduction to Letter Carving

Led by Steve Roche, a Sheffield based Stonemason with a wealth of knowledge of historic construction techniques and a passion for architecture & design we had a fantastic letter carving course this weekend.

​

The students were guided through the process of setting out an inscription by hand, and working with traditional v-cut lettering using hand tools and native stone to produce some pretty impressive results!
