Previous building visit to the U-MIX centre, opened in April 2013.  The building is a £2.5 million youth and community centre, and was shortlisted for the RIBA Awards Yorkshire 2013.

The tour was carried out by architect Cath Basilio as well as the centre manager, and gave an interesting insight into not only the challenges faced during the design and construction phases, but the changes that have been made by the users once the building has been in operation
